ESE is pleased to announce two grants to support participation in the upcoming ESE Autumn Meeting, with the aim of encouraging active scientific engagement among early career professionals.

ESE–Shaul Lin Travel Grant
Up to €1,000

​
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
-
Be either:
-
a current ESE Individual Member in good standing, or
-
affiliated with a university located in a country whose national society is a Full Member of ESE.

Be an early career professional (Postgraduate student and up to 10 years after earning a primary dental degree)
-
Required documentation: letter from your university confirming you are registered as a postgraduate student in endodontics or dentistry (e.g., MSc, MRes, MD, DClin, PhD) or copy of your dental degree diploma.​

Have submitted a poster to the Autumn Meeting as the presenting author.

Submit a short statement (maximum 150 words) including:
-
Title of submitted Abstract(s)
-
Confirmation of ESE membership and/or institutional affiliation
-
Motivation to attend the Autumn Meeting
-
Expected professional benefit from participation
-
Confirmation that you are not funded by your institution or any other external sources, including industry, to support attendance.

Applications must be submitted online via the Autumn Meeting abstract submission portal.

Application deadline: 29 June 2026
-
Incomplete or ineligible applications will not be considered.

Only applicants whose posters are accepted for presentation at the Autumn Meeting will be considered for the award.

Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by the ESE Education & Scholarship Committee.
Selection is based on:

Compliance with eligibility criteria
-
Overall merit of the application
The Committee’s decision is final.

Notification and Acceptance
Grant recipients will be announced on: 31 July 2026
Recipients must:

Confirm acceptance of the grant and
-
Complete meeting registration by 15 August 2026
If confirmation is not received by this date, the grant may be reallocated to the next ranked applicant.

Reimbursement Conditions
-
ESE–Shaul Lin Travel Grant
Recipients must initially cover all expenses.
Reimbursement (up to the awarded amount) will be processed within 30 days after the Autumn Meeting upon submission of valid receipts.

​​​ESE–Roula Abiad Registration Grant
Covers:

Autumn Meeting registration fee only
